Mobile Satellite Tactical Command Centers

Recently we sent our tech from Vegas Trailer Supply to the MotoSAT training classes so that we can become a MotoSAT dealer for mobile TV and mobile internet. At the class he learned about the mobile internet systems and a little about how they are used for Tactical Command Centers (TCC).
When we purchased the first 3 MotoSAT products we were impressed with the high quality of the products. Actually, there is no comparison to other brands of mobile TV products that we have carried in the past. Because the same mobile internet units are the foundation of the TCC units, we expect them to live up to the same high quality and ruggedness.
MotoSAT lists several types of TCC's on their web site and in their small brochure that we have. In light of the blog post a few weeks ago on emergency communications, I felt that these products would be interesting to many of the readers of this blog.
First there is the TCC Lander: a completely self-contained mobile satellite system for instant, on-demand bandwidth that is boxed as a "fly-away" system for fast setup and shipping. The TCC Lander is HughesNet, UnaSat, IDirect, and ViperSAT ready and includes a small generator and a component case for the modem, D3 universal internet controller and a router.
TCC Scout: It looks like the TCC Scout includes the same features as the TCC Lander but is enclosed in a rugged aluminum case for easy tranport on a small utility trailer. It also has integrated WiFi.
TCC Carrier: Same as above but comes with an open-air trailer transport with a component lock-box for cabling and network equipment.
TCC Rover: Similar to the TCC Scout but instead of the aluminum case the TCC Rover comes with an extremely robust camper shell configuration that can be fork lifted on and off a long bed truck.
TCC MCV (Mobile Command Vehicle) This is MotoSAT's way of saying they will build anything to your spec to create the ultimate Tactical Command Center.
You can check out these TCC units and other mobile satellite TV and internet equipment at the MotoSAT web site. I am sure that these command centers can be paired up with solar equipment for a completely self contained reliant communcations system in emergencies. We have a customer that has the F1 and F3 system that is permanently attached to a mobile travel trailer that is used specifically during emergencies. He told us that his own version TCC was deployed in Louisiana after hurricane Katrina.
