We have been very busy lately so I have not contributed to this blog in a while. I did recently find a wonderful resource on using Photovoltaics for Disasters at the Florida Solar Energy Center. Here is a link to 15 PDF documents on the topic:

Included in this list (fifth group from the top) is a 154 page manual that is used by the FSEC that goes into great depth on the subject. Other solar documents are listed on this web page as well. Much of this information is a result of the efforts of Bill Young, mentioned in other posts on this blog. We hope to refer to Mr. Youngs work in our new ebook "Let in the Sun" that discusses other aspects of using solar energy for emergency preparedness. I hope the readers of this blog enjoy this wonderful resource of documents provided by the Florida Solar Energy Center.
