LOW WATTAGE BULBS
As promised, we have received the first shipment of low power compact fluorescent lamps (CFL) and ultra low power LED bulbs. I have waited until now to carry these bulbs, as the price has been too high. Now they have come down to a reasonable price and should be a hot item for those of you wanting to save energy on your low voltage (12V) systems.
These bulbs are great for any 12 volt DC application including; RV's, cabins, solar systems, or backup systems.
CFL's
Our new Compact Fluorescent Lamps (bulbs) made by Phocos provide very high illumination levels at low power consumption. The life span of the lamp is more that 8,000 hours and a special electronic circuit guarantees an extremely high number of switching cycles. All bulbs have a standard Edison medium base, similar to standard light bulbs you use at home. Remember: Do not hook these bulbs up to 110 volts! 24 volt DC lamps are available on special order. LED's
Our new LED lamps provide illumination with extremely low power consumption. These bulbs are stocked in 12V DC only, but 24V DC are available by special order. LED lamps have a very long life span - more than 50,000 hours. They also come in the standard Edison medium base socket. Their voltage range is 11-15V. These bulbs have a much lower lumen rating, but they direct the light in a spot-light pattern that lights up a work area nicely.
